What you will learn
- Find the assigned task. Work only within the matters and assignments you are authorised to access.
- Investigate the source. Read the cited document and inspect the exact passage or page.
- Prepare a qualified note. Set out contradictory evidence without guessing which fact is true.
- Understand supervision. See how the reviewer checks source references and how correction requests guide revisions.
- Respect the approval boundary. Simulation approval is not a legal professional decision.

- Welcome — Welcome to LegalRAG Pro. In this short training session, we're using a fictional matter. I'll show you how to find your task, check the source, and understand a supervisor's review. Nothing here is professional legal approval.
- Assigned work — We start in My Work. This is where you find tasks assigned to you. Our task is to examine two different delivery dates. We need to explain what the documents say, not guess which date is correct.
- Junior Workspace — Here's the Junior Workspace. The main steps are My Work, Investigate, and Prepare Work. We use them in that order. The supervisor has a separate review area.
- Investigate — Choose Investigate. Read the source and note the document reference. If a fact is disputed, check what the original documents actually say, including the page number.
- Prepare work — Next, Prepare Work. One record says delivery was on the eleventh of January. Another says the thirteenth. They conflict. A careful paralegal records both dates and marks the answer as unresolved.
- Inspect evidence — Here's the source passage. Notice the document name and page. Before citing it, check the evidence. Acknowledging a source records that you've inspected it. It doesn't prove the date is correct.
- Existing submission — This task has already been submitted, so I'm not sending another version. The revised note records both dates, explains the disagreement, and asks for further documentary confirmation.
- Switch to supervisor — Now we switch to the supervisor's account. A junior cannot approve their own work. The reviewer checks the submitted version and can request corrections.
- Supervisor review — Open Supervisor Review. The reviewer can read the junior's note, see its status, and inspect the supporting source. This is a completed fictional exercise, not live legal approval.
- Corrections — The first note didn't fully address the conflicting document. The supervisor returned it for correction. Good feedback explains exactly what's missing so the junior can improve the work.
- Check the citation — Here's the revised note. Select Inspect cited source. The original passage opens underneath. Read the source carefully, then compare it with the note. Check the document name and page before accepting the citation.
- Approval boundary — The final status says Simulation approved. That is only a training result. A practising solicitor still has to check and approve work intended for use on a real legal matter.
- Final takeaway — The habits are simple. Start with your assigned task. Check the source. Explain uncertainty. Submit your work for review, and respond to corrections. Never treat an AI-generated answer as professionally approved without the right supervision.
