Who operates LegalRAG Pro

This notice describes the public website and the controlled LegalRAG Pro service. Customer-specific processing arrangements may be documented separately, including through a data-processing agreement where required.
Information we may process
- Contact details supplied when you ask about LegalRAG Pro or a pilot.
- Authenticated identity information needed to control access to the private service.
- Matter data and documents that an authorised customer user deliberately introduces to LegalRAG Pro.
- Operational security and audit information needed to run, protect and troubleshoot the service.
Why information is processed
Information is processed to provide the authorised service, administer access, support matter workflows, respond to enquiries, maintain security and meet applicable legal or contractual obligations. Customer matter information is not treated as public website content.
AI services and third parties
LegalRAG Pro uses external infrastructure, identity and AI service providers where required for the authorised service. For the configured OpenAI API account, training use is disabled and governed Responses API requests use store=False. Under OpenAI’s current standard profile, abuse-monitoring logs may contain customer content and may be retained for up to 30 days. LegalRAG Pro has requested Zero Data Retention from OpenAI, but it is not yet approved or claimed.
Customer use should be agreed with appropriate attention to confidentiality, legal professional privilege, data protection and any firm policy governing AI.
Retention, access and deletion
Retention depends on the type of information, the customer arrangement, operational requirements and any legal hold or professional obligation. Matter deletion is a controlled operation rather than an automatic side effect of account removal. Production storage is encrypted at rest and encrypted off-site backups are maintained; deletion from backup follows the configured backup lifecycle rather than instant removal from every historical backup. Customers should agree appropriate retention, deletion and exit expectations before production use.

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, individuals may have rights over personal data including access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Requests can be sent to hello@legalragpro.com.
